First, students will learn the fundamental techniques of flourishing, with their signature graceful curves, concentric ovals, and gentle direction changes. In this step-by-step, guided tutorial, we will experiment with the endless possibilities of flourished extensions and attachments using pencil sketches. We’ll play with proper names and words until we feel comfortable, then start designing our own!
