Have Pens Will Dazzle presents:

With Nina Tran
Gothic Textura — a script famed for its dramatic elegance and historical gravitas, yet brimming with creative potential.
Despite its reputation as a rigid and formal bookhand during the 11th-13th centuries, Gothic Textura is quite versatile and lends itself to a wide range of variations and hybridizations.
The only limiting factor is our imagination.
Join Nina Tran as she shows you how to master textura minuscules — one bold, angular stroke at a time.

What You'll Experience...
Day One: Immerse yourself in the foundational beauty of standardized Textura minuscule. We’ll break down every detail—pen angles, stroke weight, connections, proportions, and spacing—so you gain the confidence and control to master this iconic script.
Day Two: After writing words and sentences, we'll step beyond the basics. Learn how to introduce expressive pen twists, creative weight shifts, and playful branching variations, transforming the “formal” Textura into a script that is uniquely yours.
Class recordings will be available to view until October 20, 2025.
NOTE: Nina will be offering a Textura Majuscule Bootcamp a few months after this class, so stay tuned for details!
